This module explores the various factors comprising environmental conditions and concerns relevant to architectural design. It emphasizes the impact of human activities on the environment, both beneficial and detrimental, and the interconnectedness of buildings with natural systems. Topics include fundamental building design principles, promoting passive design strategies, and incorporating natural elements to optimize energy efficiency. Students will gain insight into climate fundamentals and their implications for architectural design, with the goal of enabling them to develop environmentally conscious and comfortable building designs.
