Project 2: Structure and Body: Material, Anthropometric and Ergonomic Exploration
In this project, we need to focus on developing students' knowledge and understanding of anthropometrics, ergonomics and their connection to form and space. It also introduces basic concepts of structure, design principles, and architectural terminology applicable to spatial configurations. Participants will actively produce structural installations that explore materiality, spatial quality, human scale and formal articulation. Throughout the course of the project, participants are encouraged to collaborate and interact with the tutor to share ideas.

REFLECTION
I had a lot of challenges in this assignment. At the beginning of the assignment, the problem we encountered was the design of the structure, we made four models at the beginning but none of them were satisfactory, but after discussing with the tutors and listening to their opinions, we finally came up with the design.
Since the assignment consisted of 20 people, the cooperation between the members of the group became a big problem. A few of our team members did not show up at the first meeting. Especially during the construction of the structure, those problematic members were still often absent and late. In order to solve this problem, I discussed it with my group leader and my group leader took action. He communicated with those group members by way of messages and they also promised to be present. After our blood, sweat and tears, we finished our structure, although the problem of the group members was not completely solved, I would like to thank the members who were always present for their contribution to this assignment, and I would also like to thank my group leader for leading us to finish this assignment.
Communication skill
Thinking and problem solving skill
I realised the importance of communication in this assignment. Group members need to communicate and coordinate with each other on a regular basis. This co-operation allows for understanding others' perspectives, appreciating different ideas and learning to work together to achieve a common goal. In the project, we shared ideas about the design of the space and the construction of the model. By doing so, it is possible to practice expressing concepts so that others can understand and participate in the discussion. This practice helps develop the ability to express ideas clearly and accurately.
The assignment requires a rigorous approach to defining and analysing problems with an emphasis on practical solutions. This has improved my problem solving skills and developed the ability to balance creativity and precise analysis when approaching design problems. The experience highlighted the importance of these skills in architectural design, paving the way for continued development and creativity in future projects.
