PROJECT 1: Diagramming Architectural Principles (10% Group)
This group project involves selecting a building and conducting in-depth research on its architect, focusing on their key works. The research will culminate in a complete set of architectural drawings presented in A3 landscape format. These drawings will be used to analyze the key buildings, with particular attention to design intent, contextual integration in a tropical environment (including weather, natural light, and ventilation), as well as spatial planning elements such as organization, relationships, circulation, and zoning. Structural aspects will also be examined. The analysis will be represented through five analytical drawings and five illustrative models (measuring 12 x 12 x 8 cm) that accurately and creatively convey the key architectural concepts.

REFLECTION
Through this project, I gained a deeper understanding of the "Wood And Mountain Cabin" building and its architect, Sher Maker. During the process of analyzing and drafting design diagrams, I improved my ability to translate complex architectural concepts into clear visual representations. Additionally, the materials helped me learn about the structure, routes, spatial design, and design principles within the building. Creating basic compositions using solid forms, planes, lines, and frameworks also enhanced my understanding of fundamental architectural principles.
THINKING AND PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILL
This project includes conducting comprehensive background research on the selected building, drawing detailed architectural plans, and creating analytical diagrams and models. We should possess critical thinking and creativity so that we can address these complex tasks and challenges, ensuring that our work is both precise and imaginative.
