REFLECTION
The semester is coming to an end, marking the completion of my first year in architecture. This final unit has been the most challenging and exhausting of the semester, presenting me with numerous challenges.
The first and second projects were group-based, where effective communication proved to be the most crucial skill we gained. My teammates and I engaged in discussions and shared our ideas to enhance our final outcomes. Good communication helped us avoid many mistakes, as we could address issues promptly and resolve them quickly.
The final project demanded the most time and effort, but it also deepened my understanding of spatial design and how to better integrate our architecture with the surrounding environment. Although I encountered many difficulties during this project, with the support of my tutor and friends, I was able to overcome a series of challenges. I also spent a significant amount of time and effort on the final presentation board, as drawings are essential in the architecture design module. This project has certainly improved my drawing skills.
Despite the shortcomings in my design during the final presentation, the feedback I received helped me identify areas for improvement. In conclusion, I am grateful to my friends and tutor for their support throughout the semester, and I hope to achieve the results I aspire to in this module.
