ARCHITECTURE DESIGN III
ABOUT
This module focuses on understanding space and place in architecture. Students explore spatial types and the poetic qualities of design, as well as the concepts of neighborhoods and communities.
Initial tasks involve designing simple dwelling spaces using various spatial types to study construction and experience. The main project is to design a small community building, like a gallery or library, in a suburban or open landscape, considering the site's character, history, and culture.
Integrate plans and sections to create expressive, functional designs that reflect cultural values and emphasize the role of community in architecture.
